Description
Look at this absolutely stunning 1956 Mercury M-100 pickup restomod! This custom Mercury has received a complete nut and bolt, frame-off build and it looks incredible inside and out!
In the restomod world, it is the quality 3 or 4 layers deep that matter, not just what you see. The quality of the paint and build can vary by hundreds of thousands of dollars and the quality of the build and paint on the Mercury M-100 are amongst the best we have ever seen. While what you see is near perfection, it is the work that you don’t see that takes years to build such a truck to perfection. This truck has both what you see and what you don’t see, a rare gem in the restomod world. A real '56 Mercury big window M-100 pickup is a once in a lifetime truck opportunity to get ahold of.
The mirror-like black paint finish, red leather interior, suicide doors, big rear window, viking coil overs, polished aluminum wheels, louvered hood, roll pan, steel running boards, wood bed with polished rails. Along the bed it has integrated mercury coins for the wheel wells, hidden fuel door, along with the custom door handles that are integrated into the polished trim!
Under the hood sits a 427ci FE Side Oiler V8 Engine with a Borla 8-stack electronic fuel injection setup and a EZ EFI 2.0 ECU! This beast stays cool all thanks to the polished aluminum radiator with electric fans! Power is put to the pavement through a C6 Automatic Transmission with a Polished Aluminum Case and a Ford 9'' Rear End with 3.00 Gears and Limited Slip in a Currie Housing! The Center Section of the rear end is also polished and looking great! This M-100 drives amazing and there's plenty of 427 power when wanted! Every time you cruise around town it is always in comfort thanks to the Air conditioning , Power Rack and Pinion Steering, and Power Alcon Disc Brakes with Slotted Rotors on all four corners! The brake calipers on this '56 even wear a custom M-100 graphic on them!
It received a beautiful custom interior job that is in pristine condition. When looking inside you will see Mercury sporting powered bucket seating with embroidered mercury logos, lap seat belts, red leather upholstery throughout, black carpeting, polished tilt steering column, polished aluminum steering wheel, dakota digital gauges, aftermarket audio system, along with the center console that has cup holders and an armrest! The interior lights of this Mercury can be even changed from white to a very nice red with a flip of a switch!
The underside of this Mercury looks incredible and its overall condition is a testament to the high attention to detail that this '56 received during the build! You won't hesitate to place a set of mirrors underneath this M-100 to display the beautiful condition of the custom chassis/frame, floors, bed floor, custom fuel tank, fuel and brake lines, brake master cylinder and power booster, disc brakes all around, custom aluminum battery mount, complete drivetrain, rack and pinion steering components, independent front suspension with Rushforth tubular upper and lower control arms, 4-link rear suspension with boxed control arms, Viking coil overs, long tube exhaust headers, along with the dual exhaust system that's fitted with a crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers!
